http://www.delphinareadstoomuch.com/2013/02/a-howl-for-highlander-by-terry-spear.html"Hot highlander shifter in a vacation paradise meets an intelligent and feisty female were. Seriously, there could be no other plot point other than that and Terry would have a winner. Of course she adds in a mystery, some suspense, a whole lot of heat and sprinkled it with a few surprises in this " I could not put it down" read. I am kicking myself for not finding this series earlier. She has amazing lore, interesting and fun characters and my personal weakness, shifters. You do not need to have any background into her world in order to enjoy this novel. I never felt like I was missing out key information or that I was coming into the story part way through. I will be going back to read the rest of this series, though. Yummy Goodness, I tell you, Yummy Goodness."
If you come into town to get some, email me or FB message me and we can see about getting together for lunch. If you have unsigned copies of the book, just bring them along and I'll autograph them!

I love the pictures. The forest picture reminds me of my brief visit to Scotland walking through a woods, looking for strange mushrooms with my Daughter, Granddaughter and SIL. It felt Mystical. I've started reading A Howl for A Highlander. I want to savor it, in small bites. I hate chowing my way to the last page in a day and then feeling full and sad. So I'm savoring. I started laughing on the first page, so hard that I needed to calm myself down, put the book down and watch "Nashville". And now, I keep running these words in my head: Deacon said: "There's thinking about doing something and just doing it." YOU TERRY JUST DO IT!! Maybe what cracked me up wasn't intended to be hysterical. You're such a comedian and maybe don't know it.
LOL, Donna!!! Oooh, that sounds like a fun trek through the woods!
I found this as a cute review on Goodreads:
My fav lines are-
"We'll have to make some sleeping rules."
"Aye. No snoring, no kicking, no stealing the covers."
The stuff just comes to me. It was totally my dad's influence when it comes to the humor. :) The sweet fan I met for lunch said she was reading a passage in her car before I showed up and was laughing her head off. Then saw a man look at her and got serious. LOL I'm so tickled that everyone enjoys the humor! :)
I'll reread a passage and totally forget that I had written it and be laughing too. :) I always wonder if it's okay to laugh at your own work. :)
It's ok to laugh at your own Humor. You put alot of funny things in this book. But what stuck me funny on page one, was the Image I had when I read Silverman's first name. Sal or Salisbury. Like a steak. A Gray wolf named after a type of Steak. I'd always heard you talk about Silverman. Maybe even Sal. I just find it really funny. How did you come up with that name?
LOL, Salisbury is English, from the fortified keep. That's what he reminded me of. Someone who was hard to get to. Well protected. :) See, there's method to my madness!
Oh, and you see why he went by Sal?
EXACTLY!! If the other wolves thought of a him as a juicy steak. He's be in more trouble.
LOL!!!! Too true!
"That's what the air conditioner is for." Think I would need more then one.
Exactly, turned on high!
