Ever Climb Trees?

These little guys were moving so fast across the trees, and they were soooo fuzzy. Okay so when I look at their face, his does look like the black one I pictured yesterday. It was fascinating to watch them.

Did you climb trees when you were young? My aunt lived in Oceanside and she had olive trees. They were the best trees for climbing with low branches easy for little kids to climb. We had an ancient elm in our backyard here and my daughter used to sit up high in the branches and read a book. :)

I've climbed lots of other trees too. There's just something about getting up high in the branches and looking down on the world.

Do you remember any story you've read or watched where someone used a tree to climb into to their advantage? Did you see Jurassic Park? Trees could provide a tentative safe haven from the park creatures that might eat you....

I'll be at Fresh Fiction and Star Crossed Romance today. I'm still having trouble with Internet connections, so just I'll post the links early in the morning if I can. :)

So what about you? Were you a tree climber, too?

Not much of a tree climber as a kid. BUT< I would climb to the top of the Chicken Coop Roof and sit on the top of it. Barn lofts, Silo's, Corn cribs. We built a Tree House for my kids. I sat up there with them. I have to say one of the best Stories of using a tree to your best advantage was in Savage Hunger . I hope to talk to you on Chat with Cheryl today. If the Chat works.

Oh, that will work!!! Too funny, I didn't think of Savage Hunger!!! :) Too many stories racing around in my mind. My editor just called and I had to remember the characters' names. *sigh*

I'm still having trouble with my internet on and off...but hope to be there.
