When the Internet Goes Down...

I know I've got all kinds of neat things I'm missing while I'm off the Internet due to storms, but does that stop me from keeping busy?

Aside from trying to get my Internet started intermittently, no....

I finished Silence of the Wolf, although I'm going to read it over again after I've given it a rest. But what a delightful early Valentine's gift! A SEAL Wolf Christmas cover!!! Love it!

You will get to see tons of the old home team from the Oregon Coast and Leidolf's red wolf pack in Portland. Even zoo man Thompson gets involved, again.

This is the first Christmas story I've written, and since I always write some suspense, humor, romance, and a lot of wolf, it will have all the usual. This, like To Tempt the Wolf, I couldn't quit writing when I began it. It's just one of those books that practically wrote itself--characters will do that sometimes. They get away from me. They actually start out in the jungle on a SEAL-type mission, where you get to see what happens when Bjornolf and Anna are working on the same team...sort of. And then it's a new mission--of a Christmas nature. Only she doesn't buy into the whole Christmas Fa-La-La-La-La-La, La-La-La-La. Not only that, but Bjornolf and she have been assigned the job of ensuring a runaway teen doesn't run off again. And that's only the beginning!

I have a ton of edits coming up for two books due out this year, so rather than start Jaguar 3, I started writing Taming the Wild Highlander. While I was working on the title, I stuck an "e" on Wild. Just habit. LOL

Anyway, this will be the sequel to Highland Rake. This is Angus's story, and Edana also has a secret, just like Alana. Different one though. If you had fun with Dougald's story in Highland Rake, hope you enjoy the new one coming up--Taming the Wild Highlander...

Have a super Saturday! It's good to be back!

At least when the Internet goes down you don't just fool around. It sounds you have a lot of Irons in the fire. I enjoyed "Highland Rake" Sounds like Angus's lady is clairvoyant, which should be interesting. Being that I've been under the weather, I've been spending more time watching some TV programs I missed. I found a new program on History Channel called "America Unearthed" Scott Wolter is a really cool biologist. He's proved the Keningston Runes to be dated before Columbus came to America. One farmer thought he found graves and bones of giant 8 foot men on his place in Minnesota. They only found Native American bones around 5 ft 8. He was so disappointed. And then Scott was up in Isle Royal looking for evidence that Europeans Minoan tribes came to the Great Lakes and stole copper from the mines there. And one sad thing he found out during this search. Was the wolf population their was dwindling , the wolves were falling into these deep copper mines and dying. They're down to 9 wolves now. I was so caught up in this show. I watched one episode after another. When your sick, what else can I do beside read. Today I must try to do more.

Yes, I'm always busy!!! :) She does have some interesting gifts. And Angus wants to learn all about them. :)

Sounds like a really interesting show! That's awful about the wolves. I'm surprised they didn't find any people falling into them. I hope you're getting better. Watching tv is a great idea. Gets your mind off being sick!!! :) And reading too! Get well!
