Thanks to Lisa for sharing her cat who is one of Santa's elves! Merry Christmas to Lisa from Australia!
I don't think Lucifer looks too happy here! :)
And here's one funny looking little bad-hair day black squirrel, sent to us by Donna from Minnesota! Some of us rarely see snow where we live, so this is always a treat to me! But these pictures are precious too!
Here is our squirrel, as we get to adopt him too! But Donna, he/she needs a name!
And here are some great reviews for Dreaming of the Wolf!

I received an ecopy of this book free of charge from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
I have to admit that I haven't read any other books in the Heart of the Wolf series, but I've heard really good things about it, so when I saw this book listed on NetGalley I decided to give it a try. I can honestly say that I now see why everyone loves this series!! And the best part is that this book can definitely stand on its own! Even without knowing what happens in the previous books of the series, Terry Spear lets you know what's what without making you feel like you are being dumped information.
From Goodreads: "Werewolf pack leader Jake Silver is an acclaimed photographer. He sees a beautiful woman at the art gallery where his photos are on display, and his intrigue turns into wolfish protectiveness. Alicia Greiston has never met anyone like Jake-he's sexy, alpha, and totally irresistible, and he calls to something primal in her soul."
Jake Silver goes to drop of some photographs he took at an art gallery in Breckenridge, Colorado, and he's planning a quick in and out so he can get back to his home in Silver City, where his pack is located. But when he sees a very attractive woman surreptitiously taking photos of a car's license plate on the same street, he's curious (and interested) enough to follow her into a restaurant. It turns out she's a bounty hunter named Alicia Greiston and she's bound and determined to take down a couple of mob guys by herself, to keep a promise she made to herself when her mother was murdered by these same men. Jake, being the sexy, fierce, alpha werewolf that he is, decides to stay in town to protect her, even though they can have no future because she's a human and werewolves are not allowed to have more than passing sex with humans. Therein lies the problem and you will have to read the book to find out how it is resolved because I'm not giving it away!! No, I mean it - don't even ask!
I thoroughly enjoyed my first foray into Terry Spear's writing! The sex scenes were hot, hot, HOT - but that wasn't all there was to the book by any means. The story was one that drew you in, and you really cared about all of the characters. I can tell you this for sure - I am definitely going to go back to the very beginning of this series and read the first seven books because if they are anywhere as good as this one was, I know I'm going to fall in love with Silver City and its very interesting citizens!
In summary, I highly recommend this book for paranormal lovers and werewolf lovers alike!!

Dreaming of the Wolf was a fantastic read!! Alicia Greiston is a bounty hunter who wants to make sure justice is served and her mothers murderers are put behind bars for good! While she realizes that she is dealing with members of the mob, she just doesn't realize just how far in over her head she is!
Jake Silver is a true alpha male werewolf! He has never been interested in finding himself tied down to a mate....until he spots Alicia. But she's a human and he realizes that the cards are stacked against him. Right away she intrigues him. He feels the need to know her business. He wants to protect her and keep her close.
The plot moved along at a great pace. I found myself up late at night and into the early morning hours devouring this book! The characters are interesting and easy to relate to. The romance is amazing and sensual. If you love werewolves, you are sure to love Dreaming of the Wolf! I will be reading more of Terry Spears books!! I highly recommend them!!

Princess Ritasia misses the adventure of getting her brother and cousins out of trouble, but when the hawk fae king arrives to court her, she becomes involved in trouble nothing like she's ever faced before.
The hawk fae king, Tiernan, must find a bride, but being a tyrant king, or so his people believe, he must find a woman who would help him to change his people's view of how he and his queen shall rule.
Princess Ritasia isn't anything like what he'd envision his queen would be like. Rough and tumble, unafraid of danger, and speaking her mind, the lady might just be the one for him.
The princess believes the king is a tyrant, at least at times. But she discovers he's not all that he seems, and she wants to learn even more.
The problem is that Ritasia stumbles across an ancient queen's magical artifact and nothing will ever be the same between her people, his, and what is dug up at the ancient fae dig site.

B&N finally got on board the Fae train. And I especially love the first review. I love when somone discovers your werewolves for the first time. And a great place to start with Jake. I still have one slight problem. Getting pine needles out of my panties. LOL
I've named my black squirrel. I call him "Scooter". He scoots across the street so fast between my yard and my neighbors and he's always SCOOTING. I LOVE THAT BLACK CAT TOO.
LOL, Donna. Didn't he put his shirt down first? :) Scooter is a cute name and appropriate for the squirrel. :) Love the pictures. Told everyone at work about them this morning. :)
Laughing, did you try rolling around on pine needles to test that theory? Alot of good that shirt did me.
Well, we went inside for some fun... :) no pine needles for me....
