I really did water yesterday morning because the tree we replanted was looking so poorly and I'd hoped it would last the day if I soaked it good, and the youpan holly look so bad I think I'm losing them, but I watered them just in case.
So just as I'm getting out of the 1 1/2 hour long dental procedure, it starts to pour last night. I was without Internet, but kept my electricity!!! This is the second time I watered in the morning and it poured rain that night.
Of course, there comes a point of no return in the summer when I can plan a picnic outside, water to my heart's content, and wash the car, and even do a rain dance, and the rain clouds (if they even come around) will snicker and ignore me. :)
Well, I'm off to the rainforest and hope you all have a great day!
I won't be at work tomorrow, but will be at my daughter's graduation, and hope to get the newsletter off after the celebration. :)

Well Terry, It sounds like you survived the dental appt. I'm glad to hear it. We have rain dripping from the clouds until about 4 PM and I went out filled my wheel barrel up with dirt and filled lots of flower pots before I gave up and came in for supper and fell into some reading. I'm spending time with a innocent fallen angel and a Scottish Vamp. I almost went ROTF laughing. When she first accidently seen the protrusion under his kilt. HMM!! Its obvious invasive design had her intrigued. LOL
LOL, well, here, I love the rain. I wish I had more time to go out and pull up weeds now while the ground is soft, but I'm trying to get some word count before work. :) Now that I'm not having to read for contests, I'm reading a couple of fantasies that a co-worker lent to me. :)
