sensuous fruits like strawberries and cherries...

And red bell peppers, apples, and tomatoes.
Red is for red hot Santa Clauses!

Red is for this kilted warrior, one of many Highland clans that have red in their plaids...

Red hot lovers and vampire red haze...
the color of passion and of rage. It's hot, warming cold rooms. It's vibrant and catches the eye. I went to see the Broadway play Dracula in NYC one year when I was serving on Active Duty in in New Jersey at Fort Monmouth and all the scenes were done in black and white, except one red object--a red rose, a glass of red wine--the red stood out in such an artistic understatement--the life source of the vampire.

Red for Valentine's Day for red hearts and red hot candy hearts!

Red is for barber poles and patriotic red white and blue.
Fiery red berries of the Pyracantha and its thorny barbs...
and red crepe myrtle, roses, tulips, azaleas, peonies and tons more flowers...

Red sky at night, sailor's delight, red sky in the morning, sailor's warning...

And the reds of fall--red oaks and red sumac....

And of course, Redroom for Authors, how could I forget???
So what does red mean to you?

Hot to Trot. Heat Wave. Love. Sexy Dress. Sexy shoes, especially if there is a 3 to 4 inch heel involved! Summer. Fresh fruit, apples, strawberries, cherries, mangoes, pomegranates...Red hot Werewolf and Vampire books. Kissable lips.
Temper, Temper, Temper, goes hand in hand with red-hair! lol I speak fm experience...
I like the rainbow blogs, they are a blast...thanks Terry it's been fun, don't forget the total color-black, or the lack of color-white. Those can prove to be interesting too!
Oh yes, red hair. My daughter has red hair! Yes, I'll be doing black and white also...and lots of fun colors in between. :)
Hot to trot, love it. Ooh, and fire...hot in the fireplace... Oh and Wizard of Oz--Dorothy's red ruby slippers!!! Glad you're enjoying the color blogs...I'm having a blast with them!
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer had a very Shiny nose because he found the Jug of RED, RED, WINE. I love RED. Oh yes, Red is for my July Ruby too. It's just one of my favorite colors.
To me read means summer heat. And stop. With a youngster just starting elementary school, red (and green) becomes a big part of the vocabulary in teaching behavior.
I don't have a lot of red in my life but the youngest loves red (he picked this up after seeing the Disney Cars movie), so now I have little red chairs and a lot of his wardrobe is red.
ohmigosh, yes, Donna! I totally forgot about Rudolph, and ruby...I LOVE rubies! I forgot to include a gemstone. *sigh*
And, Beth, I thought about red stop signs--and red signals--but forgot to include them. My son had little red cowboy boots when he was young. My daughter--the red ruby shiny shoes. :)
