Here's the corn!!
This is my jungle---the cornfields. I love them when they're green like this. When they're golden, I wish they were green again. :)But for now, I feel like I'm in a real jungle and love it!
Now, I found another jungle when I was searching for something noteworthy to share with you all this morning. And it was in Australia!!
Hmm, forget cornfields. I'm ready to go to Australia!
Look what they caught in the jungle???
No water droplets on these wolves, but maybe we could add a few???
Have a super Sunday!

I'm ready to tag along. 2 cute Aussie wolves. Yummo!!!
Is there corn in your field? I just see tall weeds. You need these boys to get some bug spray on and start pulling. Have a good Sunday.
Hey, Donna, me first!!! :) I just added a picture of the corn. Thought it would have shown up in the pictures I took last night, but I was trying to show how jungle-like the corn fields are. I can't even see my neighbors' homes anymore. But I just took some pictures of the corn and sunflowers this morning. It's already way too hot out there although I did weed a little!
Too bad you can't grow them year round.
I grew Okra in my garden several years ago. It grows rather tall like that but it also has a purple flower that's pretty.
Oh, how interesting, Beth. I didn't know that. Yeah, it's really nice when the cornfields are high and green like that. It makes the land seem less barren. :) When everything is burned out, it sits forever until they cut it for the cows. And it's a real fire hazard. :( But right now, it's perfect!
It's great. Reminds me of back on the folks Farm. I miss the Alfafa fields. And the cornfields. And the hayfields. The fields of Sunflowers. Despite the weeds and the heat. You have your own little piece of rural heaven out there at your place.
Thanks, Donna, yeah, I love the solitude. At my other home, the cows would moo, but it was also a problem with horseflies. They were cute though, when I went out to water and mow. They'd all come to my fence and look at me with their big cow eyes like a bunch of puppy dogs. :) No cows over here though. :) I love it when they plant rye also. It's shorter, but looks so pretty when it's green--like a sea of waving grass.
Terry...it looks as though you changed your blog format...it looks great!
I'm with you on the trip down under....those guys, whooowhheeee! Cute and then some.
Thanks, Jessica! Yeah, the blogger kept prompting me to consider changing the design. But I kept ignoring it because I'm always in a rush...so last night when I had a moment, I played around with them and fell in love with this one!
Hmm, we have to remember those guys down under are in the middle of winter, but when it becomes winter here, I think a trip to Australia should be in the works, don't you think?
I don't want the Highlanders to think I'm fickle though. In the summer (our summer), the Highlands are the place to be!!! Okay, so it still makes me sound fickle. *sigh*
