The fun thing about being an author, is including stuff in a book that intrigues us! We never know if what we include will remain in the book, but here's an example of what will be in Taming the Highland Wolf if it makes the cut--a reference to Love Romance Passion's Get Into Bed with Julia Wildthorn (Author Interview), since she is the heroine and author of werewolf romances. :) The interview hasn't really occurred, but it might, you never know.
Now, if the hero is searching for information on the little red wolf and he comes across this on the Internet, what do you think he'll be thinking?
Anyway, I've always gotten a kick out of the title of those blogs, and thought it would be fun to reference one in Taming of the Highland Wolf.
I'm off to work on that Highland wolf for a little while, it's supposed to rain today. It poured last night while I was driving home. You know that term scattered showers? It was scattered all right. Right over my house. :) Which means it was pouring too hard to retrieve my garbage can. And yes, I melt. Made of sugar, you know. :)
I don't mind the rain, really. It's supposed to clear the air of all the allergens, right?
Okay, back to writing! What do you like to do on wet rainy days???

Rainy days are made for reading. If not, then I think of a cabin with a tin roof, a fireplace, bottle of wine, soft music and the werewolf of my choice. :)
Hope you have a great dry day.

Thoughts in Progress
I'm with Mason on this.
It's raining here too. And I curled up with my Nook during the rain and read my new cook book called "Now Eat This" dreaming about all the low Calories dishes I'd cook. And it'd be nice to be in a Cabin in the woods with a hunky wolf, and loving and eating and drinking wine and listening to the rain on the roof. Run between the puddles.
"They" say that the rain will take the pollen count down, but watch out for mold and mildew...it goes up with the rain. Guess what I'm allergic to! So I don't want it to rain. Besides walking to the bus in the rain is a pain!
As for rainy days...reading a good book, hot chocolate and a warm werewolf sounds good to me.
I like the sound of rain against the roof. It's soothing.
Reading is good too, so long as it isn't dark and late at night. Imagination is a wonderful thing...until you scare yourself at every creaky sound.
Get Into Bed with Julia Wildthorn (Author Interview) - Haha a fake author interview - that'd be fun!
I loved coming up with the interview feature names - Get into Bed and Between the Sheets. I'm so glad to hear someone (you!) like them too!
You totally have to let me know if it makes the cut because you know Susan and I would run right out and get copies!
Oooh, that sounds good, Mason! All of it!!! :)
Ah, yes, Donna, sigh, you all know how to set a nice scene!
LOL, Jessica, killjoy! :) Everyone's been going on about how it's going to take down the pollen count around here. I won't tell them about the mold and mildew...our problem too is the mosquitoes. Ah yes, hot chocolate and a warm werewolf does sound awfully good!
Ah, Beth, I so agree!!! I remember storms in Florida, howling wind, flashing lightning, a door that didn't shut and lock properly, scary movies, the wind shoving open the door in the Florida room, screams from my mother and sister and me, and wild scared barking from our toy poodle. Just the storm. :)Dad was working the nightshift on the stands for the next space mission. No one to protect all of us "girls."
Keira, you know she's really real. She writes these awesome werewolf romances...but she's a werewolf too. :) Glad you enjoyed the thought. Still in the writing phase of the book.
Keira: I was already running.
Terry: What I like to do on rainy days when I'm not: Doing laundry, cooking, working, studying, and or playing referee with my kids. Reading, and or daydreaming of werewolves, and highlanders. With my coffee, of course, and wearing my fuzzy purple socks.
Witchy Woman, purple fuzzy socks sounds great! :) Daydreaming of werewolves and Highlanders is always a safe bet, lots of loving, no nightmares. :)
I love the sound of falling rain, with a fire going and curled up with one of my favorite Highlander tales.I'm rooting for Taming The Highland Wolf.

Had quite a few of those scattered showers recently. And the "possibility of a show" which usually means 24-hour shower.
Hmm, Carol, it sounds awfully nice...a Highlander, fire, curling up.Yes!
Sheila, we had high chance of rain today, but it hasn't done anything more than spit. :)
