What's Cool, What's Not--When It Comes to Vampires

Drooling is out for vampires...no blood dripping down cheeks! It's totally not cool.

Bright red lips, ice white teeth, beautiful fangs, and a cherry wedged between the teeth--totally cool. :)

Vampires have nice smooth faces because they're more...cultured. But vampires with beards remind me of werewolves, not vampires. Totally cool for werewolves, uncool for vampires.

Black shadows around eyes to denote scariness or something--totally uncool. I have dark shadows when I don't get enough sleep. It's not sexy. Vampires are sexy. Even when they're evil. That's what makes them scary. They're just too compelling, and you wouldn't think there's anything wrong until they reveal nice ice white fangs and then...it's probably too late. So black shadows uncool. No shadows, totally cool.

More later...realized I have to go into work an hour earlier today and I'm not ready. Plus Thoughts in Progress gave me a super award today and I wanted to thank Mason for it, but also to say I will do my duty to do what I'm supposed to do...but ack, got to run! :) Thanks again!

Vampire Myths

You've probably all read where vampires can't see themselves in a mirror. This is a myth. Not at all true. Vampires need to look their best like anyone else. Mirrors are not a problem.

You've most likely also read where vampires can't cross water. Hmm, nope. If they want to take an ocean cruise, no problem. How do any of them get from one continent to another? Just like most of our ancestors came from other places, so did theirs. So nope, just a myth. Vampires can cross large bodies of water.

How about the one where they have to sleep in the earth, surround themselves with dirt in a coffin, or wear soil in their shoes? Nope. Again, an unfounded myth. Squeaky clean vampires have more fun.

How about aversions to crosses? Why not aversions to other religious symbols then? So no problem with crosses or churches, for that matter.

Wooden stakes through the heart? Well of course this is true! Anyone, whether vampire or not, would have trouble with a stake in their heart!

And this is a real sticky point for some: Vampires are the undead. Not in my book. Their biology is altered from a plague during the Black Death, so they're different from humans, and yes, they need blood, but they are not the undead.

I'll reserve that for zombies.

Vampires don't eat or drink, except for blood. Nah, strictly consuming blood wouldn't give them enough nutrition to make them sexy looking. They'd be way too emaciated.

They only sleep in coffins or under the ground. Absolutely not! Why would any red-blooded woman want to hook up with a sexy vampire if she had to sleep in a coffin or some other kind of tomb? My claustrophobia kicks in here!

Exposure to sunlight can cause grave problems. Well, maybe. But you know it's bad for the rest of us too!

So do you have other fun myths that you can think of pertaining to vampires?

I'm off to another day of stress at work--again, only 2 of us working when we normally have 6 on staff. But then, two half days of work! Woohoo! :) Have a super Tuesday!

Not a Vampire...but a Sexy Highlander Instead!

I know I was supposed to talk about vampires, and I will, I promise, but when the cover art comes in for a new book, and it looks this gorgeous, I just had to share. So what do you think? Can he slay YOUR dragons???

Well, there aren't any in the story, it's strictly a Highlander historical romance...the sequel to Winning the Highlander's Heart and coming in March, as long as the release date doesn't change. :)

Lady Ellis Dunbarton didn't think life could get any worse, until her loving cousin dies and Ellis learns she is to wed the man her cousin was to marry. Not by a change of contract, though. Instead, by deceit. If he learns she is not her cousin, Agnes, her life is forfeit. Crossing the Irish Sea, her ship sinks, she survives, but temporarily loses her memories. When a Highland Clan takes her in, she remembers one thing. She must flee at all costs and disappear. She knows if her family learns of her whereabouts, her life is over.
James MacNeill must take a bride or give up his holdings to one of his younger brothers. Malcolm has already taken to wife, the fair Lady Anice of Brecken. Dougald is the next one in line to govern the MacNeill Clan if James does not wed and provide an heir. But when James discovers his cousin and advisor have rescued a half-drowned lass from the sea, there's speculation she is of the enemy clan. Returning her to them is his plan, since he has no intention of using one of their lasses as a bargaining tool. But his mother has another notion--use the lass as a means to entice one of the ladies he is interested in marrying, to visit him and commit to marriage. And then return her to her clan, if she is agreeable.
Only nothing works out as anyone plans.

~~~~~~
I'm off to work in the bitter cold, and since we were closed for the holidays, I'm sure it's going to be a Monday at work. Have a super Monday!!!
Vampire Time!
Deadly Liaisons is coming out Jan 1, although my copy from Amazon is being shipped on Dec 30...
So if you're looking for a hot sexy vampire type who shifts into the wolf when needed...Deadly Liaisons is coming really soon!
Dark huntress and rare telepath, Tezra Campbell treads a thin line between being a skilled criminal investigator for the Hunter Council and a renegade. She has an obsessive compulsion to find the vampire who murdered her parents, resulting in severe trauma to her younger sister who’d witnessed the crime a decade earlier.
Prince of the American vampire clans, Daemon, sees Tezra as a danger to herself and to his people if the serial killer vampire terminates her next. He’s also concerned his own brother might be accused of the crime, takes her into custody, and intends to find the killer himself.
Only things don't work out the way either planned, yet both aim to win the deadly gamedeadlyliasons_small.jpg
Deadly Liaison
has some very interesting twists throughout the story. I loved the way the author wove the relationship between Tezra and Daemon into it. There were some get-the-ice cubes love scenes between the two, but the mystery and the twists about all the killings and the investigation kept my interest throughout. I recommend this book to anyone that likes a good mystery suspense story. This is one I will read again.
~~~~~~

"I thoroughly enjoyed the way Deadly Liaisons pulled me in immediately. The action in this book is awesome. I found the writing tight, the plot thick, and the characters strong. When the vampire flew to the rooftop, I could almost hear the sound as he darts in the air, the swishing sound practically sweeping over the pages. Terry Spear writes a gripping story that holds this reader spellbound. The display of emotions that trigger in Tezra, after ten years of losing her parents, really shines, and this reader wanted to share in her loss. I was pulled in with the fighting scenes along with Tezra and Daemon. The excitement and intensity that springs forth in the battles with the vampires is remarkably crafted."

I'm going to try and post some vampire stuff this week, but I'm still trying to finish Wolf Fever so have been working on that diligently. I have word count, now I have to finish writing the story!

We saw Avatar yesterday. Did anyone see it? It was great!

And on the wolfier side: Mason Canyon did a terrific review of To Tempt the Wolf at Thoughts in Progress!

“To Tempt the Wolf” will have you on the edge of your seat waiting and wondering what happens next.

Author Terry Spear weaves a tale of human and wolf so intriguing that you will believe in werewolves. You will be mesmerized by the story and captivated by the bond between Tessa and Hunter. When the murderer is finally revealed, you’ll be caught off guard.

This is the third installment in the wolf series by Ms. Spear. The other books include: "Heart of the Wolf" and "Destiny of the Wolf." "Legend of the White Wolf" is scheduled for release in early 2010. For more on Ms. Spear's books, as well as the award-winning teddy bears she creates, visit her Website at www.terryspear.com

This paranormal romance will have you howling for more and searching for your own “alpha lupus garous.”

Thanks, Mason! Really loved your review!

New Years Eve I'll be at Fresh Fiction, and I just received a wonderful review from Romance Reader at Seriously Reviewed for Heart of the Wolf also:

Review: Passionate, thrilling, dangerous, and unforgettable. Ms. Spear has penned a scintillating tale of wolves. Not your typical werewolf story, but a deeper more meaningful perspective.

I loved that this story didn’t always go where I expected it to. I hated that Bella’s solution was to run away from her problems, yet to stay would have meant the death of the wolf she loves. Alpha males aren’t supposed to be sweet and agreeable and in the case of Volan, he isn’t. But Devlyn is hardly a beta hero. He’s strong, determined and sexy as hell. Fight scenes that will have your heart pounding and love scenes to leave you breathless. This story has everything to make a wonderful read.

A Christmas Present for You!

I'm off to work, but I wanted to share a Christmas present with you before I run! (Donna shared this with me earlier. Thanks, Donna!)

Hope your Christmas was great! We had a disastrous time with our dinner, but even so, the food turned out great in the end, and I couldn't have been happier with the way the day went with a leisurely late gift opening, late dinner (not planned) and lots and lots of dark chocolate goodies, that, as I told everyone, is supposed to be good for us. Must be, because it sure made me happy! And we had fun playing chicken foot dominoes (I won!). And Scrabble. (I won!)

My son got me the role-playing games: Dragon Age and Mass Effect, and while he and my daughter made dinner after my efforts proved disastrous (not my fault, the stove decided not to work) and I played Dragon Age while my daughter's boyfriend served as my advisor...we had a delightfully delicious dinner. :)

Off to work for a couple of hours, then my son and his girlfriend are going to go with me to buy a new stove, argh, and while I'm at work, a man's coming over to repair the fireplace while my son oversees them, and then we're going to see Avatar.

What are you planning for today? Rest and relaxation? Madhouse shopping? Did you have a fun Christmas? Any disasters?

Have fun post-Christmas, whatever your plans!

Merry Christmas from One Urban Fantasy Lover to Another!

Here it is Christmas Day and way before all the munchkins arrive or wake, I'm up doing my usual, writing. And researching.

The day before yesterday I was researching the timing of the phases of the moon in Colorado during spring, gunshot wounds, and what was the last name of the deputy in Destiny of the Wolf???

Yesterday, I was looking into fines and penalties for illegal hunting.

Today, it's the differences between dogs and wolves. Although I've researched these all before, each time I write a new book, I pour over new information and find new little details that make the stories more real. I just added a couple to Wolf Fever I'm sure everyone will find fascinating! At least I did. But I can't give my secrets away. Just like Christmas. :)

Next week I'll be guest blogging at Fresh Fiction, and I'll be somewhere else also...the date and place to be announced. I just have to come up with a blog. Since Deadly Liaisons is out this next month, although if you order it now, it's 33% off the cover price at Amazon, and it's now shipping by Dec 30, I'll probably blog about vampires. :)

And if I can make some real progress on Wolf Fever, I hope to send the newsletter out this Sunday.

But enough chatter when I should be writing, and wanted to wish everyone the merriest of Christmases! Hope everyone has a day to remember...in a good way, I must add!!!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Okay, Santa's a little slow on getting ready for his sleigh ride, but at least he's got a present for you!

Can you guess what it is?

Hope you are all enjoying Christmas Eve activities! :)

But if you're bored or need some more Santa inspiration, I hope I've brightened your little corner of the world for a couple of weeks anyway!!

And last night right before I shut down my computer, Witchy Woman sent me an email, telling me that To Tempt the Wolf was nominated for the CAPA (Cupid and Psyche Awards) for 2009 for Paranormal Novel!!! And that I was listed as Favorite Author!!! Woohoo, thanks, Witchy Woman. What a Christmas present!!!

http://www.theromancestudio.com/capa.php

So what is everyone having for Christmas Eve dinner? I was going to fix a roast, but there were none to be had. I'm fixing corned beef and cabbage, potatoes and carrots instead. And my son's girlfriend brought chocolate chip cookies...we're all set. So what are you having tonight? I hope my favorite Santa likes corned beef, cuz he's invited!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!

My Favorite Santa!

This is my favorite Santa of all times.

He's not posing for a picture like the other guys. Nope. This Santa has worked soooo very hard and though he's resting, he's really not asleep.

Here's the story. He was busy feeding his reindeer and with practicing his ho, ho, ho's, and reading over that huge list of Christmas requests, the poor guy was just plain tuckered out. Not to mention his jolly red suit had gotten wet while he trudged in all that snow.

Soooo, wave of hands for those who want to make sure he's warm enough in the barn???

Very Merry Christmas!!!

And he takes care of the trash while he's at it. And babysits too.
Wonder if he does windows???

Hope you all are having an unrushed holiday season!!!

Santa Hunks in Twos

Okay, the ladies are all looking at the camera. What in the world are the Santas looking at???

They look a little clueless, but, they have nice physiques anyway. Hmm, or maybe they're looking for a way to escape???

Think you might snag their attention a little longer?

In any event, this time Santas come two for one!

Enjoy!

A Different LA Mall Santa

I'm not sure what he's holding onto, pretend snowballs? Kind of an odd poise, but the smile, the costume and the muscles make up for it! Plus I love the tree in the background. Very rich and elegant.

So, what do you think? Look like your kind of Santa???

Well, I wrapped up Christmas yesterday. Hopefully. :) I'm hoping to get the rest of my word count today...5,500 words, but I still will need to finish the story. I'm not sure I can in 5,500 words and still tie up all the loose ends. But I'm having fun doing so!

Have a great Sunday! Might get the newsletter out later today...although I really need to concentrate on Wolf Fever!

Off to werewolf land!~Anyone want to join me???

Whoops! Lost My Post!

I had a post scheduled this morning that I lost somehow, so here's one of my bears dressed in Santa hat, wishing you a Merry Christmas instead.

I swear I'm not drinking the egg nog with the good stuff this morning. Strictly OJ. Not with the good stuff either. :) I do have to work shortly!

You might have noticed that Heart of the Wolf is missing from Penny Bear's stash. She's already given them all away. Even the ones she bought....but she's got a little smile, excited about the new releases coming soon! Deadly Liaisons should have been here already, still waiting to hear why not. And Legend of the White Wolf will be here shortly and she'll have her little stockpile of books to enjoy again. And to give away!

Hope you all have your Christmas shopping wrapped up. I'm afraid I'm going to try to brave the crowds bright and early soon. :)

And here's a new review for Legend of the White Wolf!
Legend of the White WolfPrivate Eye Cameron MacPherson is determined to find out what happened to his business partners who disappeared while hunting in the Canadian Arctic. Faith O'Mallery wants to find out what her father discovered on a trip in the Canadian Arcitc that so influenced him that he wrote a major paper on it before someone else stole his work. What they discover is a world of magic and werewolves? Cameron and Faith also find their soul mate and something special worth fighting for, if they live long enough…

Legend of the White Wolf is the forth werewolf book I've read by Terry Spear. Each can be read stand alone and each tale is very entertaining. Ms. Spear has a knack for making her characters believable and the wolves seem very realistic. I loved the characters of Cameron and Faith; both are loyal to their cause and relentless in their search for answers. Naturally they don't get along in the beginning but have to learn to trust each other if they want to survive the world they have just stumbled into. The werewolf community they discover either kills or converts anyone who learns about them. But this year there is a group of killers hunting down pack members and killing them and Cameron and Faith maybe able to help find and stop them once the werewolves ensure they won't tell their secrets. So this story is a werewolf tale, a mystery, and a romance all rolled up into one. I loved it. If you have never read a werewolf tale by Terry Spear, this is a good one to start with.

Santas in a Race in Speedos

Very cold Santas in a race...most have their red hats, but not sure what happened to the guy in the black speedo and cap. Anyway, they ran in mass, but man, they looked cold!!!

But this buy was awfully brave to remove his shirt....makes me cold just looking at him!

So what do you think? Should Santa be exercising in speedos to work off those extra cookies and milk?

Texas Santa Out of Element

Okay, here's a Texas Santa that ended up in the North Pole without his fur jacket. But then, we would rather he wasn't wearing it, right?

*sigh* No wonder I used to love westerns!!!

And even if it's cold out there, just like it is here, we could take him into an igloo, a little bigger than this one, and warm him right up. Don't you think?

Have a merry hump day! :) Hey, it's Wednesday. What did you think I meant??? :)

Hobbies for Sale--Teddy Bears Still a Time-Honored Favorite

Merry Christmas from my house to yours!

When I began making teddy bears eons ago, I wanted to create something old fashioned for my folks who would take them to doll and bear shows where they displayed their doll carriages and other Wilde creations for collectors. They wanted something that would fit in with their elegant designs, but that wouldn't break when they had to go from show to show. So I created my unique bears and they actually won Most Unique Bear for a pirate with a peg leg, Best Dressed Bear for a jester and Best of Show for another jester. They were featured in magazines--Teddy Bear Review, Texas Monthly, and Texas Co-op Monthly, and in newspapers. They appeared in the International Teddy Bear Connection, a video about teddy bears. And best of all, the bears have found homes all over the world as far as Japan, Australia, and Russia. Lots have made their homes in Canada--many of these the Celtic Clan bears, although those for Japan were wizards and Russia, a Patriotic Patrick. Baby birth bears with the baby's birth date and name embroidered on the paws are still a favorite.

I love making bears still, even though sales, like the economy, have dropped off. I'm so busy writing that this works for me. But I will never give up making bears. Like writing, it's fun creating each bear, who has a little different personality no matter that the basic pattern is the same.

http://terryspear.tripod.com/bears.htm

Pictured above is one of my Santa teddy bears--his cloak of tapestry, and recycled fur trims his hat and coat. He also sports a mohair beard.

One of my co-worker's sons creates unbelievable cake sculptures. Yesterday, one of our co-workers celebrated her Christmas birthday early with a cat creation and ball of thread, all created from cake and frosting. :) But he doesn't do it for a money-making adventure, instead just for fun.

Some writers say their writing is their hobby. They do it when the mood strikes. :)

Do you have a hobby that you love to do?

Naughty Santa

The main character in this scene is Santa, of course. But notice the shocked expressions on the secondary characters' faces? As the supporting characters, they really add to Santa's characterization. If no one paid any attention to him, it wouldn't be half the fun.

I'm not sure why, but this reminded me of a Norman Rockwell painting. Maybe because of the couple standing with the Christmas packages, the boy on the bike with a scarf around his neck.

Hmm, everyone is dressed so warm, I wonder how cold it is in the picture, and just how cold parts of Santa are!

When we were having a wind chill of 16, a patron came into the library wearing shorts and a short-sleeved shirt. Maybe this was him in the picture!

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!!! I just hope THIS Santa doesn't come to visit me! What about you???

Pirate Santa?

Dressed in shorts, he reminds me of a pirate Santa. He's just missing his bag of loot. A comment was made by one of my co-workers: why does he have a belt and suspenders?

Who noticed the belt and suspenders???

It's the devilish look on his face, the come-hither kind of expression that heats up a snowy day.

Okay, if a pirate Santa won't do, he's one of my wolves. Yep, by day, a Santa, fewer clothes, easier to strip out of them and shift. With the moon shining brightly, he's a wolf. I know, I know, Santa drives his sleigh at night with the full moon silhouetting him, but this is my story...so Santa is out during the day and the wolf is out at night.

:) Now it's your turn, what do you think he is?? And can he shiver your timbers???

Kitten Santa to Bring a Smile

First, while I was looking for hunky Santa types, I discovered this kitten in Santa hat. She's adorable, isn't she? Or he...in any event, I just had to include him/her because after all, she was listed as a hunky Santa. :)

At work I keep asking everyone are they ready for Christmas? Some smile and say, "Oh yes, I'm ready. Have the baking done, gifts bought, decorations up, just waiting for the day to come. And you?" I give a Grinch's smile back. "No." And we laugh.

Then there are those who say, "No, haven't done any shopping, not there yet." And I love them. "You?" they ask. I give them a bigger smile. "I'm so glad to hear it! I'm in the same boat." What with a looming deadline, promotions for 2 new releases coming out, working full time, teaching online classes, moving furniture, spackling and painting, Christmas shopping is on the back burner. *Sigh*

It will get done. I'm working on edits and then plan to write new scenes today and get my word count, and some guys are coming over to look at the cracked house today and give me an estimate to fix it, and then, I'll shop a little. And that's it! Hopefully.

Then I'll be back to edits and writing....deadline looming! I already picked up a book on medieval castles to do research for Taming of the Highland Wolf, next book due, and am looking forward to jumping into the story soon.

So now it's my turn to ask you the question: if you celebrate Christmas, are you ready?

The Next Hunky Santa at the LA Mall

So this is the new LA Mall Hunky Santa. Would you have picked him for the winning number?

Well, he does have nice muscles. I still like the other guy's fur vest better. But if I quit looking at the fur, yeah, he'd do. :)

It's really good to see Santa looking so fit these days!

I think I'd like to see a little smile though.

What do you all think? Does he work as this year's Santa? :)

Sexy Santa Again???

Hmm, does the Santa make the picture, or the picture make the Santa?

Does he look familiar? In a previous example, his background was plain red.

What? You didn't notice the background?

See, that's my point. The background highlighted the hat and the red and white striped pajama bottoms. Or whatever it is he's barely wearing. But in this picture we hardly notice Santa.

Right? :) Dream on!

I do love the background picture though. And like with the other Santa in the winter wonderland, I'm sure I see chill bumps and he needs a good hot massage to chase them away. Anyone game?

Legend of the White Wolf: Reviewer Top Pick! & Another Hot Santa!

Title: Legend of the White Wolf
Sub Title: Book 4

Authors: Terry Spear

Genres: Paranormal

Available: Feb 1, 2010

Night Owl Romance

Score: 4.50 / 5 - Reviewer Top Pick

Review:

Faith O'Malley is on her way to Millinocket Maine to talk to someone at Back Country Tours. She is trying to find her ex-boyfriend who works there as a tour guide. He took off with her father's research and she doesn't know why he would want the research. Along the way she runs into a snowstorm and stops at hotel for the night. The clerk gives her the key and room number to a room that already has someone staying there. That someone is Cameron MacPherson. He is an ex-police officer who now works as a private investigator from Seattle. He is also headed for Back Country Tours. He is looking for his two partners, who happen to also be long time friends. They are a week overdue from a hunting trip with the tour group. Faith and Cameron decide to work together since they are heading to the same place. But what they find when they get there is that there is a killer on the loose. Someone
thinks that the owner and employees of the tour group are werewolfs and is trying to take them out one at a time. Faith and Cameron agree to help find the killer in exchange for the information they are looking for.

This is the fourth book of Ms Spear's werewolf series. I have read everyone of them and in my opinion they just keep getting better and better. Ms. Spear puts a different spin on the werewolf story. With this series you have romance, adventure and a paranormal twist. If you like your werewolf stories with a bit of a bite, then pick this series up now. ~~~Night Owl Romance, Tammy King

The review link isn't up yet, will post that later. :)

Okay, so here's another Hunky Santa at a mall! We sure don't have them like that around here! :( I think I need to move!

Apparently at the Beverly Center in LA, Hunky Santa and his sexy assistants perform aerial acrobatics and have for years. Now, let me just say that he could perform safely for us and not have to go to such dizzying heights, way too dangerous. Here's the story about one of his assistants taking a bad fall. Where were Santa's reindeer when she needed them?

Hope you're having a terrific time at this special time of year!

I'm still dancing over the review from Night Owl Romance, a perfect Christmas present!!!

And thanks to Diva Donna, who sent me the Three Wolves Howling at the Moon t-shirt for Christmas! I wore it to work to rave reviews yesterday!!!

So what do you think about Santa? Aerial acrobatics out? Home workouts in?

Happy Holidays!!!

Dreaming of a White Christmas---and Santa Like This!

I love the background. Really, I did notice the background. But it does make me feel cold for him. Could be because I'm sitting in a freezing cold house too lazy (and cheap) to put on the heat and so I feel I'm in that snowy scene dressed the way he is.

Do you think we need to warm the poor guy up? I think I see chill bumps on his arms. Don't you???

Sweaty Santa

In the writing business, I'd call this a contrived Santa...I mean, he just drops his pants and then stands there with them hanging above his knees? What? Nobody noticed his pants?

Note also, his cheap costume...running pants? A plastic belt? Plastic hat? And what's with the shiny body? Okay, so that's sweat, worked up from delivering all those goodies...

I have to admit that the only part of the costume I liked was his bikini. Just perfect fit. :) Ahem.

And the body was just right, too. So what do you think? Sweaty Santa do it for you? :)

I was just reading a relationship article about working out with your partner--does sharing the sweat improve the relationship?

So if you had the chance, would you work out with this Santa?

Fun Santa!

This Santa looks like he loves to have some fun. Light a few fireworks? Hmm-hmm!

I never think of sparklers or fireworks in conjunction with Santas, but with these Santas, guess I'll have to change my thoughts on the matter!

So what do you think of fun Santa? Could he possibly light up your life too?

Have a super Monday!!!

Elfish Looking Santa?

This guys' eyes are very wolf-like...and he's even starting his winter beard...gives him that sexy, rugged look.

Whoops, poked the wrong button and uploaded it when I hadn't finished the post.

I've heard folks complaining that they're already tired of Christmas music. I haven't been store shopping yet, just went to the grocery store before work and heard my first Christmas songs.

But can we EVER get tired of looking at Santas who look like these guys?

So what does everyone think of Elfish-/wolfish looking Santa? Would you get tired of him before Christmas is even here?

Have a super Saturday!!!

Smiling Santa :)

Okay, first time I tried to upload the Smiling Santa, it broke my blogger. :)

So here he is. Not as ripped as muscle man yesterday, but he has a really cute smile, don't you think? And a little fuzzier than the shaved and oiled guys. *sigh*

He could come down my chimney anytime, Christmas or not!

Do you notice that they don't need the full "suit" to make them fit the role of Santa?

So what do you think of Smiling Santa?

I'm off to brave wintry weather conditions today. Supposed to have snow and ice. I cross a lake to get to work, so hope they've sanded the bridge. We rarely get snow and ice, so no one knows how to deal with it here. And nearly having an accident on a bridge once, I truly dread it. If only Santa could give me a ride in his sleigh, I'd have it made!

Have a super Friday!!!

Not an Ounce of a Belly that Shakes Like Jelly!

Sorry about yesterday and no post! I'm still trying to get my edits done in short order on Seduced and what with work, then editing when I get home from work until I go to bed, I haven't been able to do anything else.

I had a devil of a time getting connected to the Internet this morning to drop in quickly and do a post, can't even access my emails.

But I wanted to send you another Santa greeting before I get back to edits. Three hours before I go to work...not much time!

And, yes, what do you think of this Santa? Think he could carry a really BIG bag of toys to your house?

Have a wonderful Thursday!!!

Okay, this Santa is a little young...but he's not bad...in a few years he'll have what it takes to be real hunk material on a more...mature level. :)

So what do you think? Okay for a future Santa?

I'm off to do a few edits on Seduced by the Wolf that I need to send back in Wed...but have to go to work in just a few minutes...but before I leave you all to wish you a wonderful Tuesday...
